Joy Drive In Movie & RV Resort near Copperas Cove, TX

Everyone is so kind!

Absolutely a great place ! I have not stayed there but watched the construction of it. We went to the drive in movie for the first time. How cool was that ? The family totally enjoyed the experience. $10 Car load ? How economical was that ? They have seating and FREE buttered popcorn in a cup wow ! Great atmosphere and the staff are wonderful. If your coming to our area, stay there. They have a new pool, playground, concrete parking slabs, a community building, gated and fenced, the movies are free for customers and its in a very convenient location. As for you local folks, like me, having access to the outdoor movie is a must do. . . Go enjoy Joy !

We stayed at Joy RV Park for 10 days and had a wonderful experience! The drive-in movies were such a fun bonus, and the fresh popcorn made it feel like a real movie night. The pool was relaxing, and the park was peaceful and quiet, making it a great place to unwind. We also enjoyed taking evening walks around the park, and it was great that it’s pet-friendly so our furry family member could enjoy the stay too. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Joy RV Park to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and enjoyable place to stay!

Stayed at Joy RV Park due to Fort Cavasos not allowing sponsees to rent on base. Found this adorable R.V. Park close enough to drive back and forth to my family. Spaces are clean and pretty level. Fully gated, I was traveling solo and I felt very safe. My grandkids came and enjoyed the pool one day and playground was a hit to burn off some wiggles before staying the night. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Cute place, office area is adorable, with small selection of R.V. necessities. The pool was clean with newer patio furniture. There was a game room with showers (building partially under construction), we were able to walk through and see that it would be a nice refreshing spot to hang out, get out of the sun and play. They have a large chicken area that’s viewable from the pool (no odor) they keep it very clean. It’s a fun draw for the kids and I believe I saw on the paperwork they offer fresh eggs daily (for sale I’m guessing). Oh and the old fashioned drive in screen! They have chairs you can sit back and watch free movies. I think you can borrow old fashion car speaker or tune into a radio. How adorable is that? I have to come back through in a few days and will be staying here. I also like that it’s easy to jump on and off the highway. Close to a large HEB for shopping, gas, quick food. The rates are very reasonable. I would recommend.

Great Airbnb spot

Hibestly greatest experience I have had in a RV park. First time ever Airbnb in an RV and the fact that they have movies at night during the weekends and a chicken hatch to pick your eggs was a very nice experience

I drove an hour away to check out another area and on my way back I passed through Copperas Cove and was immediately drawn in. I just happen to pass Joy RV Resort and turned around, but noticed it was gated. I researched it upon returning home, called the office and decided to stay for a while. My whole experience has been beyond amazing. The staff provide excellent service, we feel very safe, and sense of belonging to a community. I was not able to twist off the septic closure. I told the office manager I would try again and after my daughter and I returned from errands I could not believe that it was done. That really touched me. Just yesterday, my neighbor was helping me with my RV and maintenance joined in and showed me how to level my RV with his leveler. I am so blessed! My daughter loves it here too. The amenities won me over and the playground won her over as soon as we pulled in. I was nervous about the RV life, but experiencing Joy with my daughter brings so much peace and freedom. I cannot believe how much we have grown to love this life. We have been here for a week, but can definitely say that this is our home away from home.

This is a great place to stay, it's quiet decent size spaces and the Movie nights were fun. The staff are all super helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again when back in the area
