TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Arrivals and Departures
Check-in is permitted between the hours of 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM. All guests are required to check in with the office on the day of their arrival. If a guest arrives after office hours, they must complete the check-in process with office personnel no later than 9:00 AM the following morning. Furthermore, all guests are expected to utilize their assigned parking spaces. We offer overflow parking next to our clubhouse building. If it becomes necessary to change sites for any reason, the guest must consult with the office staff. Unauthorized alterations to assigned sites without prior approval from management may result in removal from the park property.
Check-out is strictly enforced at 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Should a late departure be necessary, please communicate with the staff no later than 10:00 AM. Failure to engage with a staff member or to make prior arrangements for a departure after 11:00 AM may result in further action.
Payments
All reservations necessitate a deposit at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Outstanding balances are due upon arrival and must be settled immediately. Joy RV Resort reserves the right to process payments on its designated due dates. It is essential to maintain current credit card information. In the event that a payment is declined or the credit card has expired, a daily late fee of $10.00 will be charged until the total balance is paid in full. Accounts that remain unpaid in their entirety by the 20th of each month may be subject to further action.
Recreational Vehicle (RV) and Vehicle Policies
All recreational vehicles (RVs) must possess up-to-date registrations and should be maintained in good condition and operational status. All RVs must be 15 years or newer for approval. RVs older than 15 years will not be permitted. Individuals intending to reserve such RVs must submit photographs of the exterior from the front, back, and both sides to Melissa@joyrv.org before making a reservation. All RVs must be properly leveled and supported utilizing appropriate equipment.
Furthermore, all vehicles must be duly registered and in satisfactory working order. Golf carts, ATVs, UTVs, and similar vehicles are permitted; however, they require prior approval from the staff. All vehicles must adhere to traffic signage, remain on designated roadways, and be operated by individuals possessing a valid driver’s license.
Any boats, utility trailers, storage trailers, or automotive trailers must receive management approval before parking on the resort property. Guests are requested to refrain from parking in unoccupied sites, as this may lead to complications for both arriving guests and the individual who parked there. Washing of vehicles and RVs is prohibited for guests.
Each site is permitted to accommodate only one RV and two vehicles. Parking on grass or roadways is not permitted. Should any vehicles exceed the designated site boundaries, they may utilize the parking lot adjacent to the amenities. Furthermore, no vehicles emitting louder-than-normal exhaust may be operated within the resort during designated quiet hours.
The use of tents or sleeping in vehicles on resort property is strictly prohibited.
Pet Policies
Pets are permitted on the premises, provided they remain on a leash or confined to the designated area of the RV owner’s site at all times, in accordance with state law. It is imperative that pets are not left unattended under any circumstances. All pet waste must be promptly disposed of. The resort has established multiple pet waste stations throughout the park for the convenience of guests. Pets must be accompanied by an adult or an individual capable of managing the pet effectively. Pets shall not be left outside unattended while guests are away. Additionally, pets are prohibited from entering any amenities buildings at all times. Wildlife and farm animals do not fall under the category of pets.
Instances of aggressive behavior, excessive barking, unattended pets, and failure to clean up pet waste may result in the termination of the reservation. The pet owner assumes full responsibility for any damage inflicted upon individuals, other pets, or property by their pet.
Site Expectations
All guests are expected to maintain clean and organized sites. Any items stored externally to the recreational vehicle (RV) must be kept orderly and placed beneath the RV. Guests are prohibited from damaging sites, removing any components, or planting vegetation within the designated areas. Resort staff will conduct periodic inspections to ensure compliance with resort regulations. Noncompliance may result in the termination of site bookings without the issuance of refunds. It is imperative to observe and adhere to all posted signs throughout the resort. Guests should also be respectful of fellow visitors on the property. Unauthorized driving, walking, or parking through occupied sites is strictly forbidden, except at one’s site. All sewer connections must be equipped with an airtight seal, and hoses must be free of leaks. Guests are requested to dispose of trash in designated dumpsters and refrain from leaving any refuse overnight at their sites. Oversized items, including tents, tarps, clotheslines, and indoor furniture, are not permitted at sites. Campfires are not allowed; however, numerous fire pits are available throughout the park for guest enjoyment. Only gas fire pits are permitted at individual sites. Major vehicle repairs, including engine maintenance or painting, are prohibited on park property. Additionally, guests are not permitted to rent or sublet their assigned sites to others without obtaining explicit permission from the park management.
Amenities Overview
Smoking is permitted only at designated individual sites. It is prohibited in all common areas, which include, but are not limited to, the pool area, playground, amenity buildings, and the office. All guests are expected to demonstrate courtesy towards one another by maintaining acceptable noise levels at all times, including during daytime hours. The use of all amenities is restricted to registered guests and their visitors only. Guests are required to adhere to all posted signage within the amenities. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. It is imperative to keep all areas clean.
Pool Regulations
Food, glass items, baby diapers, or pets are strictly forbidden in the pool area. Only appropriate swimwear is acceptable within the pool; pants, shorts, cut-offs, and similar attire are not permitted. Please be advised that there will be no lifeguard on duty at any time; therefore, swimming is undertaken at one’s own risk.
Chickens
Fresh eggs are available daily on a first-come, first-served basis. Only resort staff are authorized to enter the chicken coops and fenced areas, as they are responsible for the collection of eggs daily. Guests should not allow children or pets to chase or disturb the chickens at any time, as such actions may lead to fines or removal from the resort premises without a refund.
Pickleball and Basketball Court
Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. During peak times, please limit play to one hour if others are waiting. Users must keep the courts clean by disposing of trash in designated bins and leaving the area tidy after use. To protect the courts, please refrain from bringing food or non-water beverages onto the playing surface. Children under fourteen must be supervised by an adult while using the courts. All players should show courtesy to others; if individuals are waiting, please vacate the court promptly. Smoking and alcohol consumption are prohibited on or near the courts. If you notice any damage or issues, report them to the RV park office immediately. Please remain mindful of your surroundings to ensure everyone’s safety and avoid aggressive play. By following these guidelines, we can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all users of the pickleball and basketball courts. Thank you for your cooperation, and please treat the equipment with care.
Clubhouse
The clubhouse is designated for use by adults and their accompanying guests. It is required that all guests who are under the age of fourteen (14) be supervised by an adult at all times. Furthermore, the facility must be maintained in a clean, orderly, and undamaged state.
Drive-In Theater
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the movie to facilitate adequate preparation time. Ensure that the viewing area allows for clear visibility of the screen for all attendees. It is imperative to avoid any actions that may disrupt the viewing experience of fellow guests.
Maintain a subdued atmosphere throughout the duration of the movie; conversations and extraneous noise should be minimized. It is necessary to supervise children and pets at all times, ensuring that pets are leashed and maintained under control.
Dispose of all waste responsibly; please bring bags to maintain cleanliness in your designated area. While you are welcome to enjoy snacks and beverages, it is important to clean up after consumption to ensure that the environment remains tidy for subsequent viewers.
Laundry Facilities
Guests are advised to monitor their laundry times closely. Laundry should not be left unattended in the washer or dryer for extended periods. It is also important to check the lint traps following each use to maintain safety.
Playground Regulations
All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times while using the playground. The use of playground equipment is at the user’s own risk.
Cancellation Policy
Nightly and Weekly Bookings: Cancellations must be submitted at least three days before the scheduled arrival date to receive a partial refund of the deposit, subject to a cancellation fee of $15.00. Cancellations made less than three days before arrival will result in the forfeiture of the full deposit amount.
Monthly Bookings: Cancellations must be requested a minimum of ten days before the scheduled arrival date to obtain a refund of any payments made, excluding the non-refundable monthly deposit. There are no refunds for early departures.
No-Show Policy: Guests who fail to arrive on the specified arrival date without providing prior notification will forfeit the entire cost of the reservation, applicable to all types of bookings (daily, weekly, and monthly).
Rescheduling: Should you need to reschedule your stay, please contact us at least two days before your planned arrival date. We will make every effort to accommodate your request based on availability. For monthly bookings, please contact us to reschedule a minimum of fifteen days in advance of your arrival.
Weather-Related Cancellations: No refunds will be issued for cancellations resulting from weather conditions. We advise checking the weather forecast prior to your arrival.
Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 10 to 15 business days following the confirmation of cancellation requests.
Other Information
It is imperative to ensure that all doors to the building (amenities) remain closed at all times. Please refrain from flushing anything in the toilets other than toilet paper. Tampering with the landscaping, electrical systems, plumbing, or any other property of the resort is strictly prohibited. Any criminal or drug-related activities occurring in or around the resort will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate termination of the reservation without any refunds.
Each site is designated for a maximum of six individuals, with no more than four adults permitted per site. It is also prohibited to use swimming pools or wash any type of vehicle on the premises. Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The possession of fireworks, firearms, or any hazardous materials is forbidden at all times on resort property. Guests are permitted to receive packages and mail deliveries. All incoming mail and packages will be available for collection at the office. Quiet generators may only be utilized during emergencies, and such use requires prior approval from management.
Solicitation within the premises of Joy RV Resort is strictly prohibited. Door-to-door solicitation is explicitly forbidden. Should any individual encounter solicitation activities within the resort, it is imperative to report the incident to management immediately. This policy applies to all forms of solicitation, including but not limited to interactions among residents.
The management of Joy RV Resort reserves the right to expel, without prior notice, any unauthorized individual, creates disturbances, causes nuisances, engages in damaging actions, threatens others, or otherwise disrupts the functioning of the resort or its staff. Management also retains the authority to terminate a guest’s stay for any reason, without the obligation of providing refunds.
Non-compliance with these Rules and Regulations may, at the sole discretion of management, result in fines and/or the termination of a resident’s occupancy at the resort. The decisions made by management in all disputes shall be considered final.
Additionally, Joy RV Resort reserves the right to modify and amend any of the rules and regulations at its discretion. Furthermore, Joy RV Resort retains the authority to adjust site fees at any time as necessary.
